#RHOA: Kenya Moore Just Shared a Precious Photo With Her Daughter Brooklyn!
As she celebrates turning 49, Kenya Moore is counting her blessings. The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member shared her gratitude for her daughter, Brooklyn Doris Daly, and reflected on a tumultuous year in an emotional message posted on the day of her birthday.

On January 24, Kenya took to Instagram to share a photo of herself looking stunning in a white, strapless bodysuit while holding an adorable, smiling Brooklyn, who celebrated her first birthday in November. Alongside the beautiful photo, the RHOA mom looked back at some the ups and downs of the past year, during which she split from ex-husband, Marc Daly.
“Happy Birthday to Me! Whew this has been quite a year! Despite the turmoil there has been a constant positive force of love and light in my life,” she wrote. “God brought this Angel into my world who is the miracle known as Brooklyn and everyday is my birthday.”
The former pageant queen went on to give thanks for her baby girl, writing, “You are my life Brooklyn, my happiness, my joy, and the unconditional love I waited my whole life for. You have my grandmother’s spirit. She left me so I could have you.”
She concluded her moving message by sharing the one thing she really wants for her birthday, stating, “My only birthday wish is may God continue to cover you and bless you forever and always.”
Kenya and Marc announced their divorce in September, following two years of marriage. Since their split, the two have remained amicable co-parents to little Brooklyn, even enjoying some quality family time together in New York last month.

RHOA airs on Sundays at 9/8c

#Empire: New Music from Serayah-‘Mr. Lover’!
While Empire rides off into the sunset after its sixth and final season this spring, Serayah, who plays Tiana Brown on the embattled music industry drama, is ready for the next chapter. The singer-actress keeps it moving and returns with her latest single, "Mr. Lover" produced by Rey Reel and Lonely Taj. The song finds Serayah trying to slow things down in a new relationship that is moving too fast for her liking. With a bad breakup in her rearview and a busy schedule, she makes it perfectly clear that jumping into something new isn't at the top of her to-do list. "You be trying to do too much / Need to slow down / Why you in such a rush?/ Told me make time for us, n***a what us? / Why you trying to fall in love?" she questions him early on. Serayah's tender voice rides the midtempo track smoothly as she questions Mr. Lover's intentions and takes note of potential red flags.

LISTEN HERE

The last time we heard from this talented beauty was when she was keeping things steamy with her boo, fellow singer-actor Jacob Latimore on his single "Caught Up" in October. If Serayah's Instagram is any indication, not only are the two still an item but they might be teaming up for her upcoming EP, Ray EP. One of her recent posts shows her in the recording booth with the caption, "It won’t never be the same ..” @atljacob we got one πŸ”₯ #RAYEP." When the EP drops and whether Latimore will appear on it or not is still up-in-the-air for now, but it's clear that Serayah is eager to share her talents with her fans. In the meantime, get into her latest and hear her put "Mr. Lover" back in his place.

#MusicNews: Billy Porter Is Teasing a New Music Project!
Billy Porter is no stranger to the music industry. Before the world got to know him as Pray Tell in the Emmy-winning show Pose, the Pittsburg native was singing his heart out in the ’90s. In 1997, he released his debut album, Untitled, via A&M Records. The soulful set included his breakout single “Show Me.”

Recently at the 2nd annual Urban One Honors, held at the MGM National Harbor, he shared some details on his new album that is in the works.

“I’m working on a project for a release in 2021,” he tells Rated R&B. “I’m picking up where Sylvester left off. It’s time.” Porter also shared his take on what it means to be a Black queer man in the industry. “I’m just so grateful to have lived long enough to see the day where a queer man of color like myself can be vibrating in these spaces,” he says. “I worked hard for it. Me and my generation kicked doors down.”

#HipHopNews: 21 Savage And J. Cole Win Best Rap Song For “A Lot” At 2020 Grammy Awards!
On Sunday (Jan. 26), 21 and J. Cole won the gramophone for Best Rap Song at the 2020 Grammy Awards, which are taking place at Staples Center in Los Angeles. They were announced as the winners of the award before the show officially started.
The 2020 Grammy Award nominees for best rap song for this year also included YBN Cordae ("Bad Idea" featuring Chance The Rapper), Rick Ross ("Gold Roses" featuring Drake),  DaBaby ( "Suge") and Nipsey Hussle  ("Racks in the Middle" featuring Roddy Ricch and Hit-Boy).

"A Lot" is the intro for 21's I Am > I Was album, which is an LP he dropped back in December 2018. For a track with such a subdued beat, it proved to be an explosive one. J. Cole's verse, one in which he says he's praying for the incarcerated 6ix9ine, generated a ton of discussion. The song dropped just two months before 21 was detained by ICE for his immigration status.

The 2020 Grammy nominees were announced in November 2019. Every person who was nominated in this category would have been a first-time winner of this particular musical honor. 21 joins the ranks of rappers like Drake and Kendrick Lamar who have won the award in past years.

Nicki Minaj’s brother Jelani Maraj gets 25 years to life for raping his stepdaughter!
Nicki Minaj‘s brother on Monday was sentenced to 25 years to life behind bars for repeatedly raping his 11-year-old stepdaughter — as a judge laced into him for “ruining” the girl.
Jelani Maraj appeared stoic in a Long Island courtroom before he learned his fate, following his conviction for predatory sexual assault and acting in a manner injurious to a child.

Nassau County Supreme Court Judge Robert McDonald lambasted Maraj for sexually abusing the girl, saying that his “view is that you ruined this child”
“You raped this child. You raped her over and over again,” McDonald said.
The sentence comes two years after a jury handed down the guilty verdict for the sexual abuse, which began in 2015.
The victim’s brother witnessed Maraj assaulting his sister and later notified school officials.
Minaj didn’t appear in court to support her older sibling Monday, but Maraj’s lawyer, David Schwartz, read a 2016 letter that the “Tusa” singer wrote in a bid to get her brother a lighter sentence.
In the letter, the rapper referred to Maraj as the “most patient, gentle, genuine, giving selfless man I know.”
Maraj also pleaded for mercy at his sentencing, though he maintained that he was innocent of the charges.

“I’d like to apologize for the pain that I caused. I had an excessive drinking problem,” he said, adding that he’s “just asking for mercy from the court.”
Before he was sentenced, the victim, who is now his former stepdaughter, bravely told the court that the abuse led her to become suicidal.
“I didn’t think I could make it through the day without an anxiety attack.“ she said. “I felt I had no voice.”

She previously testified at Maraj’s 2017 trial that he repeatedly raped her in family’s Baldwin home while he was married to her mother.
Maraj denied the allegations, claiming the story was concocted to extort his famous sister.
After the sentencing, Schwartz said his client plans to appeal. An earlier attempt to overturn the case was thrown out.

Tyler, The Creator Says Grammy Win Feels Like ‘Backhanded Compliment’!
Sunday, he took home the award for Best Rap Album for IGOR at the 62nd annual Grammys. During his acceptance speech, he thanked Pharrell and his mother, who joined him on stage. While speaking with reporters backstage, Tyler said he had mixed emotions about the win.
“I’m half and half on it,” he said. “On one side, I’m very grateful that what I made could just be acknowledged in a world like this, but also, it sucks that whenever we–and I mean guys that look like me–do anything that’s genre-bending or that’s anything, they always put it in a rap or urban category, which is–I don’t like that ‘urban’ word. That’s just a politically correct way to say the n-word to me.”

He added, “When I hear that, I’m just like, ‘Why can’t we just be in pop?’ Half of me feels like the rap nomination was a backhanded compliment. Like, ‘Oh, my little cousin wants to play the game, let’s give him the unplugged controller so he could shut up and feel good about it.’ That’s what it felt like a bit.”
However, he is still grateful to be recognized. “But another half of me is very grateful that the art that I made could be acknowledged on a level like this when I don’t do the radio stuff, I’m not played in Target, I’m in a whole different world than what a lot of people here listen to.”
Tyler also hit the Grammy stage for the first time for a fiery medley of IGOR hits, “EARFQUAKE” and “NEW MAGIC WAND,” featuring Boyz II Men and Charlie Wilson.

His fellow nominee Meek Mill congratulated him on the award along with his “boyfriend” Jaden Smith.

AGT Host Terry Crews Tweets About Only Being Loyal to His Wife amid Gabrielle Union Drama
People!
Is Terry Crews trying to send Gabrielle Union a message?
Crews, 51, posted a series of cryptic tweets on Monday after experiencing a backlash to his comments about Union’s controversial departure as a judge on America’s Got Talent.
“I’m a hog. You’re a chicken,” the AGT host wrote. “Just ‘cuz you gave me eggs — don’t mean I owe you bacon.”
A few hours later, he also tweeted about remaining loyal to his wife, Rebecca King-Crews, saying she is the only woman he has to “please.”
“There is only one woman one earth I have to please,” he wrote. “Her name is Rebecca. Not my mother, my sister, my daughters or co-workers. I will let their husbands/ boyfriends/ partners take care of them. Rebecca gives me WINGS.”
His tweets come days after Union seemingly fired back at Crews after he spoke about her exit. During an interview on 3rd Hour of Today, he said he never experienced any of Union’s reported allegations of racial insensitivity and a toxic culture at the show.

“First of all, I can’t speak for sexism because I’m not a woman, but I can speak on behalf of any racism comments,” he said. “That was never my experience … in fact, it was the most diverse place I have ever been in my 20 years of entertainment.”
“I have to say this, too. When you look at what the allegations were about, it was given by an unnamed source. My thing is — it’s funny because I believe you should listen to women, you should always believe women, so I asked my wife what I should do,” he added. “She was like, first of all, if it’s coming from an unnamed source, because Gabrielle Union has not made any statement to this day about any of these allegations publicly … if she hasn’t made a statement, why would you?”

When asked if he had spoken to Union since she left AGT, Crews said, “I have not. I haven’t reached out, but I have not heard anything.”
While Union never mentioned Crews by name, she responded to several tweets Friday that seemed to address the situation.

After a fan told Union to “keep standing in your truth,” she replied: “Thank u! Cuz girlllllll πŸ˜ Truth telling, wanting change & having MULTIPLE witnesses who bravely came forward to let EVERYONE know I didn’t lie or exaggerate, really exposes those who enthusiastically will throw you under the bus, forgetting quickly who stepped up 4 THEIR truth.”
She was seemingly alluding to her support of Crews in 2017, after he alleged that a “high level Hollywood executive” had “groped [his] privates” at a party.

While many of the actor’s colleagues remained silent about his allegation, Union tweeted: “Terry Crews is a stand-up guy. Literally one of the nicest people in our industry. He is honest, kind & true professional. I believe him & stand by him. #MeToo.”

Tinashe ‘Drank For Six Months’ After Discovering Ex Ben Simmons Moved On To Kendall Jenner!
Singer Tinashe was extremely candid with US Weekly over the weekend when talking about her past relationship with Ben Simmons. Back in 2018, Tinashe, 26, and Simmons, 23, had a short-lived, 2-month romance. Soon after the break-up, Simmons was spotted out with Kendall Jenner.
Tinashe revealed to TMZ that Ben was texting her the night he was photographed out in the club with Jenner.

The singer said she found about Simmons and Kendall “in real-time,” the same month she and the 76ers player called it quits. She also told reporters at the Roc Nation Brunch that, “it may have been the worst day of my like, but it’s OK.”  She admitted that the drama that came with the news left her “really depressed.”
At the time of the whirlwind break-up, Tinashe opened up on Twitter after allegations rose of her stalking Simmons and Jenner, “The fact is, I was in love, and I got hurt.” But now, looking back, the singer is chalking it up to her sensitivity.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

“I drank for six months after that. I was, like, wasted for months. It was terrible, it was bad, but I’m good now,” Tinashe recently added of the incident. “I’m sensitive as hell and have emotions just like everyone else, and I suck and most of this Hollywood s—t.”

‘Power’ Actor Michael Rainey Jr. Reveals That He’s Receiving Death Threats!
When 50 Cent shared two teaser clips of “Power” on Jan. 20, it seemingly caused a whole bunch of drama for the actor Michael Rainey Jr., who plays Tariq on the show.
The clips that 50 released show Tariq being one of the people who shoots his father James “Ghost” St. Patrick, played by Omari Hardwick. The other shows Naturi Naughton, who plays Tariq’s mother, pulling the trigger.
But later the G-Unit rapper, who’s an executive producer on the show, explained that creator Courtney Kemp wanted to create multiple endings in case the true ending got leaked.

Then on Wednesday, Jan. 22, Rainey Jr. took to Instagram and said he received a bunch of direct messages that were anything but friendly.
“Me going through my dms tryna figure out why I have 326 death threat messages πŸ€¨πŸ€¨,” he wrote next to a photo of himself looking baffled.
La La Anthony, who played Lakeisha Grant on the show, responded with five facepalm emojis in the comments, while Naughton also posted two facepalm emojis and included two laughing ones on top of that.

A lot of Rainey Jr.’s fans also weighed in, and many said they know exactly why the 19-year-old is getting a bunch of death threats.
“You know why,” one person wrote on Instagram but didn’t provide an answer.
“Just means that you are a great actor,” wrote someone else. “These fools think that you are really Tariq. And yes Tariq should die. Sorry.”
“This is how you know you played a great part in the show bc we HATE YOU ! πŸ˜‚,” wrote someone else.
“Mr Rainey, you’re doing a fantastic acting job!! Not many of us care for your character,” a third person chimed in.

Plus, another one of the teen’s Instagram followers wrote, “That’s some good acting sir πŸ˜‚.”

The Daily Buzz For Jan 27 ☕πŸ“°☕

Tyler Perry for Ebony’s POWER 100 LIST!
The entertainment industry never understood what Tyler Perry represented.  People laughed at him, but they also learned from the New Orleans native. He arrived in Hollywood 15 years ago already a self-made millionaire, thanks to his built-in fan base with a franchise centering around the feisty, take-no-mess granny named Madea. As you would expect, Perry controlled the rights to his work then just as he does now.

“I had to own the intellectual property because that is where the value is. That is the thing that changes wealth for generations to come. That will change my son’s future,” the father of a 5-year-old son, Aman, tells EBONY. “I wish more of us, as African-Americans, knew that the value is in ownership, which is the only thing that is going to keep this momentum going. We’re in this great moment in Hollywood where Black is in.”

The media mogul looks over his complex, which is larger than the Disney, Paramount and Warner Bros. studios in Burbank, California, put together.
Just recently, he hosted the grand opening of the historic Tyler Perry Studios, a $250 million Atlanta facility that sits on 330 acres. There were no outside backers. Perry is the first African-American to independently own his own studio, on land  he purchased in 2015. Once a Confederate Army base, Fort McPherson, the enormous complex includes 12 soundstages ranging in size from 10,000 to 38,000 square feet that are named after legendary Black actors and filmmakers, including Sidney Poitier, Cicely Tyson and Spike Lee. Marvel’s box office smash Black Panther was the first feature filmed there in part before the studio’s official opening. The location rivals and is larger than the Disney, Paramount and Warner Bros. studios in Burbank, California, put together.

“Combined, you can put all [the other studios’] ground on this land. I’m a person who dreams really, really big. In my prayers, why did it have to be this big and why did it have to be this much?” he asks. “I realize and understand that it’s not for me as much as it is for other people, especially people of color, who have had to take the backseat in this country to see that it’s possible. This moment is showing what is possible when you work hard.”
Perry continues to show what is possible. He’s hoping in the near future to have pods at the complex for LGBTQ youth, battered women and those who’ve aged out of foster care. “That is my next goal,” he shares. “I’ve done a lot of work with charities that have worked with all of these groups, but I want to have a place where I know they are safe.”
Most recently, the November 2019 Democratic presidential debate was held at the landmark facility. His star power also was literally cemented the month before when the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce honored him with the 2,675th star on the fabled Hollywood Walk of Fame. As the co-owner of the subscription streaming service BET+, his new series lineup includes the political drama The Oval and the dramatic comedy Sistas. Expect access to all his films and stage plays. Then there’s the Netflix movie A Fall From Grace (see sidebar)and a new partnership with Peachtree & Vine Productions.

“There are so many stories. It’s about finding other projects and producing other projects. It’s kind of like what Oprah and I did with the movie Precious. I hope that Peachtree & Vine picks up the slack on other artistic stuff I want to do,” says the media mogul, whose The Haves and the Have Nots has been renewed on OWN for a seventh season.
In 2019, he officially retired Madea, the character on whose shoulders his wealth and empire were mostly built. The final film, A Madea Family Funeral, grossed more than $74 million. And Perry was “surprised” that his 21st and last stage play, Madea’s Farewell, was his “most successful.” He has come to accept that, though tried and true, the industry still doesn’t quite get him or his audience. He’s unbothered at this point because it’s about agency and advocacy in the big A.

Executive mansion: Perry’s own White House soundstage is a three-story stucco replica of the one in the nation’s capital, complete with an Oval Office, a press room and a resolute desk. The Oval is written, directed and executive produced by Perry.
“Build your own table, and stop asking for a seat at someone else’s table. That’s why I came to Atlanta. I know the value in what I do, and I know how important our stories are to us. We have to stop trying to run and cross over and get attention from somebody else,” he emphasizes. “These are people who don’t even care . . . I found value in my own face, in my own people, in my own color. Until we realize as Black people that there is tremendous value in our own community, we will always be asking somebody to validate us. Why ask someone to validate me outside of the world I live in that is so special and built this entire place, ticket by ticket, grandmothers coming with their grandkids, laughing, to see Madea?”

He’s yielded power, perhaps in the Hollywood sense of the definition, through the very trappings of wealth and fame. So with more money comes more problems, right? Wrong. “I believe it is all relevant. I have the same amount of issues I had when I was broke, it’s just different issues,” he explains. “People look at the now but don’t look at the then. I still felt like I was the same person then as I do now. I still felt rich even though I couldn’t pay bills. I still felt wealthy within my soul and myself as a person.”

Power, he quickly clarifies, doesn’t have to mean having money. For Perry, it’s much deeper than what’s in one’s pockets.
Leaning on a 1977 Rolls-Royce Camargue once owned by Mr. Showbiz himself, Sammy Davis Jr., Perry builds on the legacy of past entertainment industry icons.
“I know a lot of people who have power but aren’t necessarily rich. A definition for me is when you have a tool that you can use for good to uplift, encourage and open doors for people. That’s what I think the definition of power, in this setting, should be,” he says. “I can’t speak to power without talking about faith in God. Power for me, from birth growing up, was going to church and understanding the power of God and working hard to align with that. You might have talent, but if everything is not lined up, it might not happen. I had the time and the talent, but it took God for everything to line up. That’s the ultimate power for me.”
Perry’s Power Reminders:
It is a two-way sword.
Handle it with care.
Use it for good.
It doesn’t make you who you are.
If in the right hands, it can change the world.

Nice. Go pick up Ebony Magazine’s POWER 100 List on newsstands now!

Kobe Bryant Dies At Age 41 In Helicopter Crash In Calabasas
Former Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant has died Sunday in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, CBSLA  has confirmed. He was 41. Bryant was one of five people killed in the crash involving a Sikorsky S-76 helicopter. It remained unclear at this time whether family members were on board.
Five people confirmed deceased, no survivors in #Calabasas helicopter crash. #LASD #Malibu deputies remain with #LA County Fire personnel. Investigation ongoing.
Avoid the area until further notice.
“We all know that Kobe loved flying on helicopters,” said Hill. “The cause of the crash has not been confirmed but there is some speculation that weather had something to do with it.”The cause of the crash is under investigation

As Hill reported, Bryant was an avid flyer, who enjoyed flying on helicopters.
“This was his normal mode of transportation. Most of the time, he flew from Newport Beach,” Hill said.
“Many of us are just shaking out here,” said Brittney Hopper, reporting from the Grammys red carpet. “It started off as a joyous morning has turned into a devastating, shocking, red carpet here.”

The Associated Press reported that Bryant on Saturday was passed by LeBron James for third place on the NBA’s career scoring list, getting the milestone on a driving layup against the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night.
Bryant retired in 2016 as the third-leading scorer in NBA history, finishing two decades with the Lakers as a prolific scorer with a sublime all-around game and a relentless competitive ethic, AP reported. He held that spot in the league scoring ranks until Saturday night, when the Lakers’ LeBron James passed him for third place during a game in Philadelphia, Bryant’s hometown, the wire service said.

#RHOA: Porsha Williams Says She Is 'Done' With FiancΓ© Dennis Mckinley and She’s 'About To Tell It All'!
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams seemingly declared that she was “done” with fiancΓ© Dennis McKinley on Instagram on Friday, January 24. The reality star also warned that she was “about to tell it all.” Porsha and Dennis first called off their engagement in June 2019 after she learned he had been unfaithful while she was pregnant with their daughter Pilar Jhena
Dennis, 43, recently raised eyebrows when he was caught on video with four women at a diner in Atlanta at 4 a.m. on Saturday, January 4. "He came in with four beautiful women. Porsha was not with him. Dennis was the only man in the group and all of the women were flirting with him," a source told RadarOnline.com at the time.

Porsha hinted at ongoing relationship problems with Dennis during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live on January 19. "We’re working on our relationship," she cryptically said. "Do you trust him?" host Andy Cohen asked, which caused Porsha to get defensive. "I think you ask me every time I come here. I think every relationship is a work in progress. We have a daughter together. Just pray for us. You pray for yourselves, add us in there too," she responded.
Andy then referenced the video of Dennis at the diner with the women and asked if it had impacted their relationship. "I don’t know, he was out. Can y’all just continue to comment and speculate and let me figure out my life? I’m figuring out my life," Porsha said.

Porsha ended her engagement to Dennis the first time back in June 2019, when she learned he had cheated while she was pregnant. They reconciled in August 2019 and Porsha announced that they were officially engaged again during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live on December 1.
On the December 15 episode of RHOA, Dennis claimed that his cheating was brought on by Porsha's postpartum depression. "We had a rough pregnancy, all the way from start to finish. Sex during pregnancy, it’s nothing what a man wants to do. And after PJ got here, postpartum was very real. We cried together like every night. That’s not a good enough why, but that’s the why [I cheated]," he admitted during a couple's therapy session.
Porsha was vocal about trying to expand her family with Dennis in the months leading up to her being "done" with him.

Do you think Porsha will end up forgiving Dennis again?

#Empire: Vivica Fox Speaks Out On Jussie Smollett and Empire Finale!
Fox has already handed down its decision on whether or not Jussie Smollett will be back for the Empire finale later his year, but that hasn’t stopped one of the actor’s former co-stars from weighing in on whether or not she wants it to happen.
Vivica A. Fox plays Candace Mason — sister to Lyon matriarch Cookie, played by Taraji P. Henson — on the Fox hit series. She recently visited the CBS daily yakfest series The Talk to promote Empire’s final season.

“We are only halfway through the final season,” Fox revealed. “But it’s amazing, the chemistry on the set is amazing. This season [Cookie] got to spend a lot more time with her sisters and interact, and we’re trying to get her away from Lucious [played by Terrence Howard]. And so, it’s been an amazing experience so far.”
The co-hosts of the show asked Fox if she’d like to have Smollett appear in these last episodes to give closure to not only his character Jamal but also to the characters who have relationships with him.

Vivica Answers The Big Question “Of course, I love Jussie, and I always will,” Fox responded. “He’s family. You know, things happen. We started the show with him, and in my honest opinion, I’d love to finish it with him. But it is up to the network.”
Fox made the decision to release Smollett from the show after it came to light that the attack he reported last year appeared to have not occurred the way the actor said it did. In fact, Smollett has been accused of concocting the incident for various reasons. Recently, the show confirmed Smollett’s return as Jamal was still not happening.

You can check Fox’s interview with the women of Talk below. The Talk is hosted by Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood, Eve, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Marie Osmond. It airs daily on CBS. Check local listings for air times. The series finale of Empire is reportedly set to air in May.

#HipHopNews: Meek Mill Reportedly Gets Into a Scuffle With Ex Nicki Minaj & Her New Husband
WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA – Former couple Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj reportedly ran into each other on Friday (January 24) at the high-end clothing store Maxfield in West Hollywood where chaos ensued. According to TMZ, Nicki and her new husband Kenneth Petty were casually browsing around the store when they bumped into Meek.

While it’s unclear what prompted it, a shouting match quickly erupted with Petty calling Meek a “pussy” and Meek returning the sentiment. Then it sounds like Petty screams, “You ain’t talking to her no more! You can’t talk to me one-on-one!” Nicki appears to jump in and call Meek a “bitch.”
Fellow rapper ReTcH, who happened to be in the same area, snapped two separate selfies with both Meek and Nicki. After the alleged incident popped off, he approached Nicki who initially thought he was part of Meek’s crew. She got in his face at first but then apparently realized who he was.
“JUST RAN INTO THE QUEEN SHOPPIN FOR DRIP,” he wrote in all caps. “WE WAS BEEFIN AT FIRST WE FRIENDS NOW @NICKIMINAJ.”
ReTcH reportedly went into more detail on his Instagram Live where he confirmed Nicki, Petty and Meek did indeed “start beefin.”

Gabrielle Union Hits Back At Terry Crews After His 'Today' Show Comments!
Gabrielle Union is not here for people dismissing her truth. The actress and producer sprinted into the Twitter streets to address Terry Crews’ recent comments on Today.
During his appearance on Thursday, Crews, who was a judge on America’s Got Talent with Union, commented on her claims that the culture of the show was toxic and racially insensitive.

“That was never my experience on America’s Got Talent. In fact, it was the most diverse place I have ever been in my 20 years of entertainment,” Crews said. “The top 10 acts were Asian, women, older, younger, Black, White. It was everything in the gamut.”
Crews continued: “I can’t speak for sexism because I am not a woman, but I can speak on behalf of any racism comments.”

Racist jokes targeting the Asian community and comments that Union’s hairstyles were “too black,” were among the issues she reportedly raised in the workplace before learning that her contract would not be renewed.
Crews said his wife was the reason he did not feel compelled to support his coworker by issuing a statement. “I believe you should listen to women — you should always believe women — so I asked my wife what I should do,” he said. “Because Gabrielle Union has not made any statement to this day about any of these allegations publicly…My wife said, ‘Well, if she hasn’t made a statement, why would you?” he added. He did not reveal why he felt compelled to comment on his differing experiences on television or imply his wife’s feelings about him doing so.
Union responded swiftly by tweeting: “Why anyone would gleefully get up on TV and tell lies that NO ONE disputed… But we already know,”
“Can someone please ask abt what happens to all that diversity folks are talking about BEHIND THE SCENES. Like, legit… where the hell is all that diversity in the production though homie? In the decision making ranks who control the fate of the diversity in front of the camera?”

She referenced the several witnesses who, she says, validated her claims in a Tweet thanking a well wisher for their continued support. “Thank u! Cuz girlllllll Truth telling, wanting change & having MULTIPLE witnesses who bravely came forward to let EVERYONE know I didn’t lie or exaggerate, really exposes those who enthusiastically will throw you under the bus, forgetting quickly who stepped up 4 THEIR truth.”
When former America’s Got Talent host Julianne Hough appeared on Today, she stood in solidarity with Union. Said Hough, “We need to start conversations and I just commend Gabrielle for speaking her truth and starting a conversation.”

Whitney Houston’s Sister-In-Law Deems Taraji P. Henson Fit To Play Singer In Upcoming Biopic!
Clive Davis, Grammy Award-winning record producer and current CCO of Sony Music Entertainment, has not been shy about his dedication towards re-creating another Whitney biopic. After the first received a great deal of backlash, Clive told LA Times, “The story of Whitney Houston has not been told yet.”

Although the new biopic from Davis is in its earliest stages, people are eager to know who will play the infamous singer.
Friday at LAX, TMZ reporters spoke to Pat Houston, sister-in-law of Houston, about the upcoming biopic and revealed she is actually collaborating with Davis on the project. “Davis is a wonderful person — he’s also credited with bringing Houston to prominence — so [I’m] doing anything [I] can to help him,” TMZ reported on Pat’s behalf.

Pat is unable to share who is on the list to play Whitney, but she shared who she believes to be the best fit to represent her late sister-in-law. TMZ stated, “She can’t help but blurt out how much she loves Henson’s and wants her for the role.”

Danny McBride says Kanye West asked him to play him in a movie!
From sampling Blades of Glory in “N***** in Paris” to making a cameo in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, Kanye West has made little secret of his Will Ferrell fandom. But it’s another member of Hollywood’s so-called “Frat Pack” that the rap star would reportedly like to see play him in a movie.
That honor goes to Danny McBride, the actor known for comedic gems like The Foot Fist Way, Pineapple Express and Eastbound & Down. According to a new interview, The Righteous Gemstones star gave to the Guardian, West asked him to take on a very unexpected role.

“Kanye asked me to play him in a movie of his life,” McBride told the British newspaper, laughing at the memory. “That was a pretty stunning phone call to get. I don’t know why he wanted me to do it. Maybe that sense of ego I’m able to portray? I have no clue.”
According to McBride, West even flew down to visit his family and watched his young son play Fortnite. Plans for an actual West biopic — which would presumably cover his marriage to Kim Kardashian and recent support of President Donald Trump — remain vague, however.

“That was a pretty incredible day,” McBride said. “Maybe someday we’ll make the film. Who knows?”

Speaking of unconventional casting choices, McBride’s Tropic Thunder co-star Robert Downey Jr. has recently defended wearing blackface in the 2008 film, in which he played a white method actor who goes above and beyond to portray a black character.

Taylor Swift Has Reportedly Canceled Her 'Secret' 2020 Grammys Performance!
Contrary to speculation, Taylor Swift will not be performing at the 2020 Grammy Awards.
According to multiple source reports from Variety, whatever surprise performance the “Lover” musician might have been planning for tomorrow’s annual awards ceremony is now a no-go. As the outlet indicates, Swift had been gossiped to be a “secret” (albeit unannounced) performer for the show but apparently pulled out of the commitment last-minute for reasons undisclosed.

Although Swift was never confirmed as a performer, it was believed she was the mystery “TBA” artist listed on the rehearsal schedule for the taping at Staples Center, where the Grammys will take place on January 26. What's more, it was said the 30-year-old artist would deliver her feminist record “The Man." No one knows what caused the performance to fall through, though Variety theorized the controversy surrounding the Recording Academy trustees and ousted CEO Deborah Dugan could have potentially been the reason Swift decided to bow out altogether.

Rumors of the songbird’s surprise showcase started swirling as she supported the premiere of her Netflix documentary, Miss Americana, at the Sundance Film Festival. Before the Dugan drama, it was assumed Swift was so quick to hop a plane back to Los Angeles on Thursday night because she was allegedly preparing to put something together for the music celebration.
As fans now, Swift is nominated in several categories at the Grammys this year including for Song of the Year for her smash hit “Lover,” Best Pop Vocal Album (Lover), and Best Solo Performance for “You Need to Calm Down.”
